Give Kids a Smile - a success!
On Friday, February 3rd, Dr. Clark-Lowell participated with the American Dental Association 10th annual Give Kids a Smile. With the help of Larry Spring from Cortland City Schools, Mary Corser from Head Start, Oldies 101.5, and Cortland Child Care Council we were able to notify over 2,000 children of this event. We had 25 children that we were able to provide cleanings, exams and sealants for, who may not have had access to otherwise. I would like to thank Seven Valley Health Coalition for their enthusiastic efforts with Murray the Toothbrush and The Mighty Molar, and to our fabulous volunteers; Peggy Phelps RDH, Lindsey Doeing RDH, Debbie Davis RDH, Erin Flaherty RDH, Susan Walter, Maggie Giamichael, and Laura Cohenno.
